CupSeer Terms of Use
v0.1 · updated 2026-10-12
Last updated: [date]
These terms apply between you and [LastCopper legal name, e.g. LastCopper OÜ], a company registered in Estonia, [registry code], [address in Estonia] (“LastCopper”, “we”), lastcopper.com, for the CupSeer app and service.
1. AI-generated, entertainment only
CupSeer creates coffee cup readings with artificial intelligence (AI): AI models that understand images and text (vision-language models) look at the shapes in your photos and write the reading. Every reading is AI-generated text. Coffee cup reading is a tradition, not a science. Readings cannot predict the future, can be wrong or odd, and are not advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological or any other); they do not replace a professional. Do not base decisions on them.
2. Using the app
- You must be at least 13 years old. You use CupSeer with a LastCopper account (a guest account, or signed in with e-mail or Apple), run by the LastCopper platform. [Reference to the LastCopper account terms.]
- You may use CupSeer for personal, non-commercial use.
- Only upload photos you are allowed to use, and do not upload photos of people or of anything illegal. Photos that do not show a coffee cup are rejected.
- Do not attack, overload, reverse-engineer or misuse the service, or try to get gold you did not earn or buy.
3. Gold (in-app currency)
- A reading costs 1 gold; moving up the queue costs 1 more gold.
- You receive 1 gold when you start, and a free gift of gold from time to time. [Once enabled:] you can earn gold by watching rewarded ads (currently 2 ads = 1 gold) or buy it in the app.
- If a reading fails for any reason (for example, the photos do not show a coffee cup), its gold is returned automatically.
- Gold has no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and belongs to your LastCopper account; it is kept in the LastCopper platform’s ledger. A saved account (e-mail or Apple) keeps it on every phone you sign in on; a guest account lives on one phone only, so its gold is lost if you delete the app, reset the phone or sign out. Deleting your account deletes your gold.
- [Once enabled:] purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms and refund rules. [Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.]
- We may change prices, amounts and gifts for the future; gold you already have keeps its use.
4. AI models and their terms
Readings are generated by AI models that LastCopper runs on its own computers and, when demand is high, on GPU servers rented from RunPod in Europe; not by a third-party AI provider; they include Qwen3-VL (Apache License 2.0) and Gemma. Your photos and readings are not used to train AI models.
Gemma is provided under and subject to the Gemma Terms of Use found at ai.google.dev/gemma/terms. You agree not to use CupSeer, or its output, for any purpose restricted by the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy (ai.google.dev/gemma/prohibited_use_policy), including illegal activity, harassment, generating harmful content, or misrepresenting AI-generated content as human-created. [Counsel: confirm that the full use restrictions are passed on as required by section 3.1 of the Gemma Terms.]
AI output can be wrong, repetitive or unexpected. We filter readings to avoid frightening or harmful content, but cannot guarantee it. If you find a reading offensive or harmful, report it from the reading screen (Report this reading); LastCopper staff review reports.
5. Availability
The service may be unavailable at times. A reading that cannot be started in time is cancelled and its gold returned. We may change or end the service. [Notice period and handling of unused purchased gold on shutdown.]
6. Liability
[Limitation of liability, as allowed by law; nothing limits liability that cannot be limited.]
7. Privacy
See the CupSeer Privacy Policy.
8. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, and disputes are decided by the courts of Estonia [e.g. Harju County Court]. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live. [Counsel: confirm the governing law and venue clause.]
Consumers in the EU can use the EU’s out-of-court and online dispute resolution options [counsel to confirm which apply, e.g. the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee; the EU’s ODR platform was closed in July 2025].
